Rear Door Glass: Installation

  1. Install the glass assembly - rear door.
    CAUTION: Avoid impact and damage to the glass assembly - rear door.
  2. Temporarily assemble the running channel - rear door to the sash assembly - rear partition.
    NOTE: Assemble so that the end face of the running channel - rear door is aligned with the mounting surface of the sash assembly - rear partition on vehicle side.
  3. Install the glass - rear door partition and the sash assembly - rear partition temporarily assembled.
    CAUTION: Check that the running channel - rear door is securely fixed to the panel assembly - rear door and to the sash assembly - rear partition.
    NOTE:
    • Engage the claws on top of the sash assembly - partition with the panel assembly - rear door.
    • Install the glass - rear door partition so that its molding part does not come off.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  4. Install the rear sealing cover.
  5. Install the trim panel - rear door. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the battery ground terminal. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY>GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
