Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

CAUTION:
  • If water or oil contacts the connector terminal of front wheel speed sensor, replace it with a new part.
  • If CVTF has leaked when the front wheel speed sensor is removed, adjust the CVTF level after installing the front wheel speed sensor.
  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Clean the transmission exterior.
  3. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor harness connector.
  4. Remove the front wheel speed sensor.
CAUTION: After removing the sensors, plug the holes to avoid foreign materials intruding as necessary.
