Except For Hybrid Model

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY>GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
    NOTE:
    • Release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position. Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL .
    • On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the battery ground terminal.
  2. Remove the cover assembly - front. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
  3. Release the claws and remove the hill hold switch.
