Inspection steps

CAUTION: When the skid control ECM (brake actuator ASSY) has been replaced, make sure to perform [VSC(VDC) Centering Mode]. (Refer to WORK SUPPORT )

Diagnostic code output check (CAN communication system)

Check CAN communication system. (Refer to HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT )

No output	A
Output exists	B

Go to next step
Go to "CAN communication system (How to troubleshoot)" (Refer to HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT )

Inspection of skid control ECM connector connection
1. Check if the skid control ECM connector is properly connected.
  Criteria: The connector is properly connected.
  
  OK: Go to next step
  
  NG: Properly connect the connector to the ECM.
Check the battery.
1. Check the battery voltage.
  Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V
  
  OK: Go to next step
  
  NG: Check or replace charging system components or battery (Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
Combination meter ASSY check
1. Start the engine.
2. Using SSM4, display [Active Test] of the combination meter ASSY (meter CPU). (Refer to DATA MONITOR/ACTIVE TEST )
3. Check the combination meter ASSY.
  Criteria: In response to the SSM4 operation, the slip indicator light turns ON/OFF.
  
  NOTE: If this information is referenced while performing troubleshooting described in the symptom table, go back to the table and go to the next step before replacing parts. (Refer to SYMPTOM TABLE )
  
  OK: Go to next step
  
  NG: Replacement of combination meter ASSY (Refer to REMOVAL )
  
  Replacement of brake actuator ASSY (Refer to REMOVAL )
