Int Operation Time Does Not Change If The Sensitivity Volume Switch Is Operated
- CHECK DTC.
Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of body integrated unit, combination meter, VDC, and CAN system.
NOTE: For detailed operation procedures, refer to "Help" of application.Is a DTC detected for each system?
Yes : Perform a check according to the DTC.
No : Go to 2.
- CHECK DTC.
Read the DTCs for rain/light sensor using the Subaru Select Monitor.
Is DTC detected?
Yes : Perform a check according to the DTC.
No : Go to 3.
- CHECK SENSITIVITY VOLUME SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL OF COMBINATION SWITCH (WIPER).
Perform unit inspection of the combination switch (wiper). Ref. to WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEMS>COMBINATION SWITCH (WIPER)>INSPECTION>INSPECTION OF SWITCH UNIT .
Is the inspection result of sensitivity volume switch OK?
Yes : Go to 4.
No : Replace the switch assembly combination wiper select.
- CHECK HARNESS.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and disconnect the connectors of body integrated unit - combination switch (wiper).
- Check the harness between body integrated unit and combination switch.

Is the inspection result OK?
Yes : Go to 5.
No : Repair or replace the harness.
- CHECK DATA MONITOR (AUTO WIPER SENSITIVITY VOLUME SIGNAL).
Display the data of [Wiper Volume Status] using Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to AUTOMATIC LIGHT AND WIPER (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
Is the auto wiper sensitivity volume signal displayed properly?
Yes : Replace the rain sensor.
No : Replace the body integrated unit.
