Clutch Disc And Cover: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle. Ref. to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT) (TY75)>Manual Transmission Assembly>REMOVAL Ref. to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT) (TY85)>Manual Transmission Assembly>REMOVAL
  2. Attach the ST on the flywheel.

    ST 499747100 CLUTCH DISC GUIDE

  3. Remove the clutch cover and clutch disc.
    NOTE:
    • Take care not to allow oil to touch the clutch disc face.
    • Do not disassemble the clutch cover or clutch disc.
  4. Remove the release bearing & lever. (Except for STI model) Ref. to CLUTCH SYSTEM>Release Bearing and Lever>REMOVAL>EXCEPT FOR STI MODEL
