Throttle Body: Removal

- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Remove the under cover. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Front Under Cover>REMOVAL .
- Drain approximately 3.0 L (3.2 US qt, 2.6 Imp qt) of coolant. Ref. to COOLING (STI)>Engine Coolant>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
- Remove the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (STI)>Intercooler>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the connector (A) from the throttle position sensor, and the connector (B) from the manifold pressure sensor.
- Disconnect the engine coolant hose from throttle body.
- Remove the throttle body from the intake manifold.
