Related Lines More Than 52 Ω And Less Than 62 Ω (Power Steering Control Module System)

1. CHECK BETWEEN RELATED LINES AND MAIN WIRING HARNESS  .
   1. Disconnect the power steering CONTROL MODULE connector.
   2. Using the tester, measure the resistance between terminals.

      Connector & terminal 

      (B450) No. 1 - (B450) No. 2:

   Is the resistance 400 Ω or more?

   Yes: Related lines or main wiring harness between power steering CONTROL MODULE and main wiring harness is open at two places or more.

   No: Go to  2

2. CHECK RELATED LINES  .

   Using the tester, measure the resistance between terminals.

   Connector & terminal 

   (B450) No. 1 - (B231) No. 2:

   (B450) No. 2 - (B231) No. 3:

   Is the resistance 10 Ω or more?

   Yes: Repair or replace the open circuit portion of power steering CONTROL MODULE related lines.

   No: Check DTC of power steering CONTROL MODULE. Ref. to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING) (DIAGNOSTICS)>Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>OPERATION .
