DTC U0140: Lost Communication With Body Control Module

DTC detecting condition: 

When the following conditions are all met.

• Battery voltage remains at 10 V or more for 1 second or more.
• CAN bus is not in sleep state.
• The mode is not switched to the CAN transmission stop mode.

  When any of the following conditions is met in any reception ID of body integrated unit for the period of [transmission cycle time (ms) - 40 (frame)] continuously.

  • Reception has not been successful.
  • Message length of reception ID is shorter than communication software defined length.
  • Message length of reception ID is longer than 8.
