Entertainment System: Camera: Removal: Rear
- Sedan model
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the trim panel - trunk lid. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Trunk Room Trim>REMOVAL .
- Remove the garnish - trunk. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Trunk Lid Garnish>REMOVAL .
- Remove the rearview camera assembly.CAUTION: Do not drop or apply any impact to the rearview camera because it is a precision equipment.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Release the claw and hook, and then remove the rearview camera assembly.
- OUTBACK model
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the trim panel - rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Trim>REMOVAL .
- Remove the garnish assembly - rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Garnish>REMOVAL .
- Remove the rearview camera assembly.CAUTION: Do not drop or apply any impact to the rearview camera because it is a precision equipment.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Release the claw and hook, and then remove the rearview camera assembly.
