How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
NOTE:
- Use these procedures to troubleshoot the seat belt warning system.
- *: Use a SSM4.
- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.
- CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
- Use the SSM4 to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
