Instrument Panel Assembly: Disassembly

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to  AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION 

  1. Remove the screws, and remove the duct side ventilation and the duct center ventilation front.

  2. Remove the screws and detach the duct side defroster.

  3. Remove the nozzle front defroster assembly.
    1. Remove the cushion instrument.
    2. Remove the screws and release the claws, then detach the nozzle front defroster assembly.

  4. Remove the tapping screws and release the claws, and remove the passenger's airbag module.

  5. Remove the bracket CTR UPR and the reinforcement CTR LWR.
    1. Remove the screws, and then remove the bracket CTR UPR.
    2. Remove the screws, and then remove the reinforcement CTR LWR.

  6. Remove the grille defroster side and the nozzle front defroster side.
    1. Release the clips, and then remove the grille defroster side.
    2. Remove the screws, and remove the nozzle front defroster side.
