Oil Pressure Switch: Removal

CAUTION:

If the engine oil is spilt over the engine, exhaust pipe or the under cover, completely wipe it off to avoid emission of smoke or causing a fire. 

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the rubber cap and disconnect the terminal.

  3. Remove the oil pressure switch.
    CAUTION:

    Use cloth to catch the engine oil in order to prevent it from splashing.

  4. Remove seal material from the oil pressure switch and the thread portions of the chain cover.
