DTC B2329 Rear Radar Axis Alignment Incomplete

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Axis adjustment of the radar sensor has failed.

(Forced termination of the Subaru Select Monitor, improper location of the target reflector, or deviation of the radar sensor due to impact.)

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

All functions of BSD/RCTA stop.
Fail icon is displayed in the combination meter LCD display.
Failure-related notification is displayed for approx. two seconds on LCD display in the combination meter.

NOTE: Check and replace the side that displayed the DTC.

1 CHECK REAR BUMPER. Check the rear bumper. (Stickered, trace of repainting, etc.)	Is the check result OK?	Go to step 2 .	Replace or repair the bumper. <Ref. to Rear Bumper .> Go to step 2 .
2 CHECK RADAR SENSOR BRACKET. Remove the rear bumper. <Ref. to Rear Bumper .> Check the mounting bracket of the radar sensor as well as its installation position. (Visible damage, deformation, etc.)	Is the check result OK?	Go to step 3 .	Replace the mounting bracket of the radar sensor, or repair the installation position. Go to step 3 .
3 ADJUSTMENT OF RADAR SENSOR AXIS. Install the rear bumper. Perform the adjustment of radar axis. <Ref. to ADJUSTMENT , Radar Sensor.> Perform the Inspection Mode. <Ref. to INSPECTION MODE .>	Is DTC B2329 displayed? (Current malfunction)	Replace the radar sensor. <Ref. to Radar Sensor .>	Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
