Secondary Speed Sensor: Installation

CAUTION:

Be sure to prevent water or oil from contacting the connector terminal of secondary speed sensor. If adhesion occurs, replace with a new part.
After installing the secondary speed sensor, adjust the CVTF level.

Install the secondary speed sensor and spacer.
NOTE:
- Use new O-rings.
- Apply CVTF to the O-rings.
Tightening torque:

7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)
Connect the harness connector.
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>SAFETY .
Refill CVTF to adjust the CVTF level. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION(TR580)>CVTF .
