Steering wheel: Installation
- Confirm that the front tires are in the straight-ahead position.
- Steering roll connector centering (Refer to Inspection )
- Installation of steering pad switch (Refer to Steering pad switch )
- Installation of the cruise control main switch (Refer to INSTALLATION )
- Installation of the transmission shift switch (with paddle shifter) (Refer to Installation )
- Installation of the steering wheel ASSY
- Line up the alignment marks and install the steering wheel ASSY onto the steering column ASSY.
- Install the nut.
Standard value: T=39N.m {398kgf.cm} {28.8ft.lbf}
- Connect each connector to the steering roll connector.
- Installation of the driver's airbag module (Refer to Installation )
- Connection of the battery ground terminal
Standard value: T=6.0N.m {61kgf.cm} {4.4ft.lbf}
- Confirm the steering wheel ASSY center position.
- Inspection of airbag warning light (Refer to Wiring diagram )
- VDC sensor mid point setting (Refer to Work support )
