Alternator (FA20): Disassembly

Removal of IC regulator
1. Remove the cover.

2. Remove the nut and remove the terminal B.

3. Remove the rear cover.

4. Remove the 2 bolts, and remove the brush ASSY.

  NOTE: To avid the damage to the slip ring, place an appropriate tool such as a socket wrench of the correct size between the brush and slip ring.
5. Remove the 3 bolts, and remove the IC regulator.
