Intermediate Case: Removal
- Remove the transmission assembly from vehicle body. < Ref. to

- Remove the extension case. < Ref. to
REMOVAL , Extension Case. >
- Remove the parking pawl. < Ref. to
REMOVAL , Parking Pawl. >
- Remove the rear drive shaft. < Ref. to
REMOVAL , Rear Drive Shaft. >
- Remove the transfer clutch assembly. < Ref. to
REMOVAL , Transfer Clutch. >
- Remove the center differential carrier. < Ref. to
REMOVAL , Center Differential Carrier. >
- Remove the transfer reduction driven gear assembly. < Ref. to
REMOVAL , Transfer Reduction Driven Gear. >
- Remove the intermediate case.
NOTE:
- The total number of intermediate case mounting bolts is 14.
- Inside the transmission is a single bolt (arrowed).
