DTC P1451 EVAP System Clog Detected (Pipe): DTC Detecting Condition

Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.

CAUTION: After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode < Ref. to OPERATION , Clear Memory Mode. >, and Inspection Mode < Ref. to PROCEDURE , Inspection Mode. >.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

1 CHECK DRAIN TUBE BETWEEN CANISTER AND LEAK CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY.	Is the drain tube between canister and leak check valve assembly clogged?	Replace the drain tube between the canister and leak check valve assembly. < Ref. to LEAK CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY . >	Go to step 2.
2 CHECK HOSES BETWEEN CANISTER AND FUEL TANK.	Are the hoses between the canister and fuel tank clogged?	Replace the hoses between the canister and fuel tank. < Ref. to CANISTER . > < Ref. to FUEL TANK . >	Replace the canister. < Ref. to CANISTER . > After the operation is complete, go to the next step. Go to step 3.
3 CHECK BETWEEN CANISTER AND PURGE CONTROL VALVE 2. Check the piping between the canister and the purge control valve 2.	Is there clogging in the piping between the canister and the purge control valve 2?	Repair or replace the piping between the canister and the purge control valve 2. < Ref. to FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES . >	Go to step 4.
4 CHECK BETWEEN CANISTER AND PURGE CONTROL VALVE 2. Check the piping between the canister and the purge control valve 2.	Is there closed stuck state in the piping between the canister and the purge control valve 2?	Repair or replace the purge control valve 2. < Ref. to PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE . >	Go to step 5.
5 CHECK PIPING BETWEEN PURGE CONTROL VALVE 2 AND TURBOCHARGER. Check the piping between the purge control valve 2 and the turbocharger.	Is there clogging in the piping between the purge control valve 2 and the turbocharger?	Repair or replace the piping between the purge control valve 2 and the turbocharger. < Ref. to TURBOCHARGER . >	Go to step 6.
6 CHECK EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM. Perform drive cycle I. < Ref. to DRIVE CYCLE I , PROCEDURE, Drive Cycle. >	Is DTC P1451 displayed on the display?	Replace the leak check valve assembly. < Ref. to LEAK CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY . >	End.
