DTC B2790 Id Code Box Circuit: Trouble Symptom

Engine will not start.

CAUTION: For replacement procedure of ID code box, refer to the "REGISTRATION MANUAL FOR IMMOBILIZER" provided as a separate volume.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

1 CHECK DTC. Turn the ignition switch to OFF. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, clear the keyless access system memory. < Ref. to CLEAR MEMORY MODE . > Turn the ignition switch to OFF → ON. Register the ID code box. Use the Subaru Select Monitor and read DTCs. < Ref. to READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >	Is B2790 displayed?	Replace the ID code box. < Ref. to ID CODE BOX . >	System is normal. It is possible that temporary poor contact occurs.
