Forced Drive

CAUTION: After a forced operation, make sure to perform an initialize operation. < Ref. to INITIALIZE OPERATION , OPERATION, Sunroof Control System. >

If the lid assembly - sunroof does not operate or the motor assembly is not supplied with power, remove the motor assembly to move the lid assembly - sunroof manually.

  1. Remove the overhead console. (Models without EyeSight) < Ref. to REMOVAL , Spot Map Light. >
  2. Remove the stereo camera cover assembly. (Models with EyeSight) < Ref. to REMOVAL , Stereo Camera. >
  3. Remove the connector and bolt to remove the motor assembly.
  4. Move the lid assembly - sunroof by hand.
  5. Install the connector and bolt.
  6. Install the overhead console. (Models without EyeSight) < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Spot Map Light. >
  7. Install the stereo camera cover assembly. (Models with EyeSight) < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Stereo Camera. >
