Fuel Injector LH

CAUTION:

Be careful not to spill fuel.
Catch the fuel from the pipes using a container or cloth.

Release the fuel pressure. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC) > Fuel > RELEASING OF FUEL PRESSURE .
Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Open the fuel filler lid and remove the fuel filler cap.
Remove the intake manifold. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC) > Intake Manifold > REMOVAL .
Remove the fuel pump insulator. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC) > Fuel Insulator > FUEL PUMP INSULATOR .
Remove the fuel pipe insulator No. 1. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC) > Fuel Insulator > FUEL PIPE INSULATOR NO. 1 .
Remove the fuel pipe insulator No. 2. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC) > Fuel Insulator > FUEL PIPE INSULATOR NO. 2 .
Remove the fuel pipe insulator No. 3. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC) > Fuel Insulator > FUEL PIPE INSULATOR NO. 3 .
Remove the flare nut (A) and bolt (B), and then remove the high-pressure fuel delivery pipe assembly.(A)

Remove the high-pressure fuel delivery pipes.

Disconnect the connector (A) from fuel injector, and remove the fuel injector pipe LH.

Remove the holder from the fuel injector.

Using ST, remove the fuel injector from the cylinder head.
ST 18356AA000 INJECTOR REMOVER
1. Set the ST so that its mark faces the center of the engine.

2. Pinch the fuel injector groove (A) with the claw section (B) of ST.

3. Press the ST to the cylinder head.

4. Screw in the threaded section of the ST clockwise, and remove the fuel injector from the cylinder head.
