Test drive

Perform test drive to check if the DTC recurs.

1. Connect the SSM3 to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn on the SSM3.
4. Follow the SSM3 on-screen instructions to clear the DTCs. (Refer to CHECKING/CLEARING DTC )
5. Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and wait for 30 seconds.
6. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
7. Turn on the SSM3.
8. Start the engine and let it warm up until the engine coolant temperature stabilizes. (at 75°C {167°F} or more).
9. Perform driving test as follows.
   WARNING: When performing this driving test, always observe the applicable traffic laws such as the speed limit.
   1. Idle the engine for 10 seconds or more. (A)
   2. Accelerate to 97km/h {60 MPH} or more within 20 seconds. (B)
   3. Drive at 97km/h {60 MPH} or more for 20 seconds or more. (C)
   4. Release the accelerator pedal and decelerate to 64km/h {40 MPH} or less. (D)
   5. Drive at 64km/h {40 MPH} or less for 20 seconds or more. (E)
   6. Accelerate to 97km/h {60 MPH} or more within 10 seconds. (F)
   7. Release the accelerator pedal and stop the vehicle. (G)
10. Follow the SSM3 on-screen instructions to check the DTC. (Refer to CHECKING/CLEARING DTC )
