Inspection Mode B

DTC Description & trouble part Condition
P0711 TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE -

Diagnostic procedure: 

  1. Soak for six hours.
  2. Start the engine under condition that ATF temperature is at 20°C (68°F) or below.
  3. Check the readiness code of [Transmission] using Subaru Select Monitor and confirm that the diagnosis is not completed. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>ALL READINESS DIAGNOSTIC CODE(S) 
  4. Drive in any driving pattern for 20 minutes. (Include driving at a constant legal speed (for 20 seconds) at least once.)
    NOTE:

    Repeat two or more driving cycles in this driving pattern. 

  5. Check the readiness code of [Transmission] using Subaru Select Monitor and confirm that the diagnosis is completed. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>ALL READINESS DIAGNOSTIC CODE(S)
