DTC P2158: Vehicle Speed Sensor "B" Circuit: Notes

DTC detecting condition:

Immediately at fault recognition

Trouble symptom:

VDC does not operate.

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform the last step of the basic diagnostic procedure. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

CHECK DTC .
Read the DTC of [Brake Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to BRAKE CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)

Are any DTCs displayed?

Yes : Perform the diagnosis according to the DTC. Ref. to BRAKE CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST

No : Repair the poor contact of connector and harness between VDCCM & H/U and wheel speed sensor.
