Body Integrated Unit: Installation

CAUTION:
  • Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". < Ref. to CAUTION , General Description. >
  • When replacing the body integrated unit, install the starter relay (a) to the relay holder.

NOTE: Make sure that there are no differences from the contents of the current settings after installation. < Ref. to LIST , Read Current Data. >
  1. Install the body integrated unit (fuse & relay box).

    Tightening torque: 

    Relay & fuse box: 7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb) 

  2. Install the panel - knee guard.

    Tightening torque: 

    7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb) 

  3. Install the cover assembly - instrument panel LWR driver.
  4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
