Section 141 (Starting System & Charging System (H6DO)): Starter: Installation

- Install the starter to the transmission.NOTE: Tighten the starter and bracket (a) together using the upper bolt securing the starter.
Tightening torque:
50 N.m (5.1 kgf-m, 36.9 ft-lb)
- Connect the connector (A) to the starter, and install the terminal (B).
Tightening torque:
10 N.m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.4 ft-lb)
- Install the air intake boot. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Intake Boot. >
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
- Install the collector cover.
