Section 20 (Starting System & Charging System (H4DO)): Battery: Installation: Battery

Install the battery and battery pan.
Install the battery holder, and install the bolts to the battery box.
NOTE: Check that the rod (b) of the battery holder is inserted into the hole (a) on the battery box and battery pan.

Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Connect the battery positive terminal.
Install the battery sensor. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Battery Sensor. >
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
