DTC P05A2 Active Grille Shutter "A" Control Circuit: DTC Detecting Condition

Immediately at fault recognition
GENERAL DESCRIPTION <Ref. to DTC P05A2 ACTIVE GRILLE SHUTTER "A" CONTROL CIRCUIT , Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Detecting Criteria.>

CAUTION: After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode <Ref. to OPERATION , Clear Memory Mode.>, and Inspection Mode <Ref. to PROCEDURE , Inspection Mode.>.

DIAGNOSTICS PROCEDURE

Step	Check	Yes	No
1 CHECK DTC . Perform the Clear Memory Mode using the Subaru Select Monitor. <Ref. to OPERATION , Clear Memory Mode.> Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and wait for approx. 30 seconds. Turn the ignition switch to ON. Check for DTC. <Ref. to READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .>	Is P05A2 displayed in «Present fault»?	Replace the active grille shutter. <Ref. to ACTIVE GRILLE SHUTTER .>	Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the operation check for the active grille shutter to make sure that its open and close operation can be completed properly. NOTE: For detailed procedures, refer to "System Operation Check Mode". <Ref. to SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK MODE .>
