Trunk Panel Lock Assembly: Installation

Installation of cable assembly trunk
1. Engage the clamp and install the cable assembly trunk.
Installation of KEY lock trunk gasket
1. Install a new KEY lock trunk gasket.
  CAUTION: To prevent water entry, replace the KEY lock trunk gasket with a new one once it is removed.
Applying of body grease
1. Apply body grease to the sliding surface of the KEY lock trunk.
Installation of KEY lock trunk
1. Connect the cable assembly trunk.
2. Using 2 nuts, install the KEY lock trunk.
  Standard value: T=4.5N.m {46kgf.cm} {3.3ft.lbf}
Installation of trunk lock assembly
1. Using two bolts, install the trunk lock assembly to the trunk panel.
  Standard value: T=7.5N.m {77kgf.cm} {5.5ft.lbf}
2. Connect the cable assembly trunk to the trunk lock assembly.
3. Engage the claw and close the cover.
4. Connect the connector.
Installation of trunk cover (Refer to ADJUSTMENT )
