Push Button Start Function

  1. While carrying the access key inside the vehicle and setting the shift lever in P range and the brake pedal OFF, check that the mode switches ACC → IGN ON → IGN OFF repeatedly, every time the push button ignition switch is pressed, and that the indicator light of push button ignition switch illuminates in orange.
  2. While carrying the access key inside the vehicle and setting the shift lever in P range and the brake pedal ON, check that the indicator light of push button ignition switch illuminates in green.
    NOTE: When the select lever button is being pressed, the indicator light of push button ignition switch does not illuminate in green, even if the shift position is in P range.
  3. While carrying the access key inside the vehicle and setting the shift lever in P range and the brake pedal ON, check that the engine starts when the push button ignition switch is pressed.
  4. While the vehicle is stopped, engine is started and shift lever is in P range, check that the engine stops when the push button ignition switch is pressed.
  5. While the vehicle is stopped, engine is started and shift lever is in N range, check that the engine stops when the push button ignition switch is pressed and that the mode switches ACC → IGN ON repeatedly every time the push button ignition switch is pressed.
