Keyless Access Function
CAUTION:
- Make sure to separate the access keys individually for the inspection.
- Do not leave the separated access keys inside the vehicle.
NOTE:
The following inspections are for the initial setting. When the setting is changed from initial setting, use the Subaru Select Monitor to review each setting and perform inspection. < Ref. to
OPERATION
, Read Current Data.>
- Check that the room light illuminates, when a person carrying the access key approaches the front door handle of vehicle with all doors locked.
- Check that all doors and rear gate lock and the hazard light blinks, when a person carrying the access key touches the touch sensor (lock) on front door, or presses the rear lock button on rear gate.
NOTE:
- On unlocking, the hazard light blinks twice.
- On locking, the hazard light blinks once.
- Check that the trunk unlocks and the hazard light blinks twice, when a person carrying the access key presses the trunk opener button on trunk.
- With all doors and rear gate closed, check that all doors and rear gate are automatically locked in 30 seconds after a person carrying the access key holds the front door knob to unlock the doors (by touching the touch sensor (unlock)).
- Operate the access key buttons manually to check that the doors and rear gate lock and unlock normally, and the hazard light blinks.
- Using the mechanical key attached to the access key, check lock and unlock operations.
- Check that the warning buzzer sounds and the door-lock does not operate, when the access key is left in the vehicle and the touch sensor (lock) on door is touched, or the rear lock button on rear gate is pressed.CAUTION: The mechanical key must be carried separately from the access key.
- While the access key is left in trunk, check that the warning buzzer sounds when the trunk is closed, and that the trunk unlocks when the trunk opener button on trunk is pressed.
