Inspection steps
- Power window system (initialization)
- Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly RH (driver's seat) and power window regulator motor assembly LH (passenger's seat), and verify normal operation. (Refer to REGISTRATION SETTINGS
)
Criteria: It operates properly.
NG: Go to Step 2.
OK: Complete (due to failed initialization)
- Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly RH (driver's seat) and power window regulator motor assembly LH (passenger's seat), and verify normal operation. (Refer to REGISTRATION SETTINGS
)
- Installation of door glass slide resistance (driver's door glass)
- Remove the door glass mounting bolts, and check if the door glass can be lifted with hands smoothly without being caught.NOTE:
- The door glass is not in abnormal contact with the glass run.
- Glass run has no deformation or foreign matter inside.
NG: Install the glass properly (remove foreign matter which causes installation failure, fix the installation, or reinstall)
OK: Replacement of the power window regulator motor assembly (driver's or passenger's seat) (Refer to REMOVAL )
- Remove the door glass mounting bolts, and check if the door glass can be lifted with hands smoothly without being caught.
