DTC P0463 Fuel Level Sensor "A" Circuit High: DTC Detecting Condition
- Detected when 2 consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.
- GENERAL DESCRIPTION. Refer to DTC P0463 FUEL LEVEL SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT HIGH .
CAUTION:
After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode. Refer to
OPERATION and
PROCEDURE .
DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
| Step | Check | Yes | No |

| 1 CHECK FOR ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY. | Is DTC P0462 or P0463 displayed on the Subaru Select Monitor? | Check the combination meter. Refer to CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR . | Even if DTC is detected, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE:
In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
