Steering wheel: Installation
- Confirm that the front tires are in the straight-ahead position.
- Steering roll connector centering (Refer to INSPECTION )
- Install the cruise control main switch (Refer to INSTALLATION )
- Install the transmission shift switch (with paddle shifter). (Refer to INSTALLATION )
- Install the steering wheel ASSY.
- Line up the alignment marks and install the steering wheel ASSY onto the steering column ASSY.
- Install the nut.
Standard value: T=39N.m {398kgf.cm} {28.8ft.lbf}
- Connect each connector to the steering roll connector.
- Install the driver's airbag module. (Refer to INSTALLATION )
- Connection of the battery ground terminal
Standard value: T=6.0N.m {61kgf.cm} {4.4ft.lbf}
- Confirm the steering wheel ASSY center position.
- Inspect the airbag warning lamp (Refer to AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATION PATTERN )
