- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

- Remove the intercooler. (Turbo model)<Ref. to

- Remove the air intake chamber stay LH. (2.5 L non-turbo model)
- Disconnect the connector and terminal from starter.

- Remove the starter from transmission.
