Service Information

During these cold weather months, the Techline continues to receive inquiries concerning Remote Engine Start system performance. We have been made aware that in nearly all the cases where either a RES control module or an Immobilizer Interface was replaced, the "failed" components tested fine when returned to the manufacturer for evaluation. A request was made to put out a "reminder" in TIPS about Service Bulletin 15-135-09 , which refers to the critical placement of the antenna loop around the ignition lock. The drawing below shows the completed antenna installation with the updated harness retaining clip. The clip part number is H001SAG300, and there is plenty of inventory available.
