Select Cable: Removal

Set the vehicle on a lift.
Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Prior to removal, set the lever to "N" range.
Lift up the vehicle.
Remove the front and center exhaust pipes.

Remove the snap pin and washer from the range select lever.

Remove the plate assembly from the transmission case.

Disconnect the select cable from range select lever and then remove the cable bracket.

Remove the select cable from plate assembly.
