Rear Strut: Removal

  1. Remove the strut cap of quarter trim.
  2. Loosen the rear wheel nuts.
  3. Lift-up the vehicle, and remove rear wheels.
  4. Remove the brake hose clip, and then remove the brake hose from rear strut.

  5. Remove the bolts which secure rear strut to housing.

    CAUTION: Do not subject the brake hose and ABS wheel speed sensor harness to excessive tension.
  6. Remove the nuts securing strut mount to body.
