Drive Pinion Shaft Assembly: Installation
- Assemble the drive pinion assembly to oil pump cover.NOTE: Be careful not to bend the shim.
Tightening torque: 70 A/m (7.1 kgf-m, 51.6 ft-lb)
- Adjust the tooth contact between drive pinion shaft assembly and the front differential side gear. < Refer to ADJUSTMENT , DRIVE PINION SHAFT ASSEMBLY. >
- Join the converter case with the transmission case. < Refer to INSTALLATION , CONVERTER CASE. >
- Install the transmission harness connector to the stay.
- Install the ATF filter pipe. < Refer to INSTALLATION , ATF COOLER PIPE & HOSE. >
- Install the oil charge pipe with O-ring.
- Install the torque converter assembly. < Refer to INSTALLATION , TORQUE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY. >
- Install the transmission assembly to the vehicle. < Refer to INSTALLATION , AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY. >
