1 CHECK PRE-INSPECTION. Ask the customer when and how the trouble occurred using the interview checklist. < Ref. to CHECK LIST FOR INTERVIEW . > Before performing diagnosis, inspect the following item which might influence the AT problems. General inspection < Ref. to INSPECTION , GENERAL DESCRIPTION. > Oil leakage Stall speed test < Ref. to STALL TEST . > Line pressure test < Ref. to LINE PRESSURE TEST . > Transfer Clutch Pressure Test < Ref. to TRANSFER CLUTCH PRESSURE TEST . > Time Lag Test < Ref. to TIME LAG TEST . > Road Test< Ref. to ROAD TEST . > Inhibitor Switch < Ref. to INHIBITOR SWITCH . >	Is the unit that might influence the AT problem normal?	Go to step 2.	Repair or replace each item.
2 CHECK SPORT INDICATOR LIGHT. After the ignition switch is turned to ON, wait for at least 2 seconds.	Does the SPORT indicator light illuminate?	Go to step 4.	Go to step 3.
3 CHECK SPORT INDICATOR LIGHT. Turn the ignition switch to OFF. Check the SPORT indicator light. < Ref. to INSPECTION , SPORT INDICATOR LIGHT DISPLAY. > After the ignition switch is turned to ON, wait for at least 2 seconds.	Does the SPORT indicator light blink?	Go to step 4.	Go to step 5.
4 CHECK DTC. Read the DTC. < Ref. to OPERATION , READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC). > NOTE: If the communication function of Subaru Select Monitor cannot be executed normally, check communication circuit. < Ref. to COMMUNICATION FOR INITIALIZING IMPOSSIBLE , DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE FOR SUBARU SELECT MONITOR COMMUNICATION. >	Is DTC displayed?	Go to step 6. NOTE: Record all DTCs.	Go to step 5.
5 PERFORM GENERAL DIAGNOSTICS. Inspect using "Diagnostic Procedure without Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". < Ref. to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITHOUT DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > Perform the clear memory mode. Perform the inspection mode. < Ref. to INSPECTION MODE . > Display DTC.	Is DTC displayed?	Go to step 6.	Inspect using "General Diagnostic Table". < Ref. to GENERAL DIAGNOSTIC TABLE . >
6 PERFORM THE DIAGNOSIS. Inspect using the "Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". < Ref. to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > NOTE: For DTC table, refer to "List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)." < Ref. to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > Repair the trouble cause. Perform the clear memory mode. Perform the inspection mode. < Ref. to INSPECTION MODE . > Display DTC.	Is DTC displayed?	Inspect using the "Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". < Ref. to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >	Inspect using "General Diagnostic Table". < Ref. to GENERAL DIAGNOSTIC TABLE . >
