Reduction Driven Gear: Installation

Set the select lever to "P" range.
Using a plastic hammer, install the reduction driven gear assembly and new washer, and tighten new drive pinion lock nut.
Tightening torque:

100 N.m (10.2 kgf-m, 73.8 ft-lb)

After tightening, stake the lock nut securely.
Combine the transmission case with extension case, and then install the rear vehicle speed sensor. < Ref. to , INSTALLATION , Extension Case. >
Install the transmission assembly into vehicle. < Ref. to , INSTALLATION , Automatic Transmission Assembly. >
