Combination Switch/CLOCKSPRING: Installation

Ensure front wheels are positioned in straight ahead position. Install combination switch on steering column. Center clockspring. See CENTERING CLOCKSPRING under ADJUSTMENTS. When installing steering wheel, ensure that clockspring connector pins align with holes on steering wheel. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten steering wheel nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate the air bag system.
