Diagnostic Procedure: Notes

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Retrieve diagnostic trouble codes. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC CODES . If normal code (AIR BAG Warning light flashing 0.6 second on and 0.6 second off continuously) is retrieved, system is functioning properly at this time and no further diagnostics is necessary. If AIR BAG warning light is flashing a code, go to appropriate code and perform diagnostics for indicated malfunction. See DIAGNOSTIC TESTS .
