Code 22

NOTE: Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . After repairs are complete, check AIR BAG warning light to verify system is functioning correctly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .

If Code 22 exists, replace air bag control module, Driver-side air bag module, passenger-side air bag module, both front subsensors and both front seat belt pretensioners. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Reconnect system components and activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Clear air bag system codes. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC CODES under DIAGNOSTICS. Perform SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
