Removal & Installation: V-Belt: Installation

  1. Wipe off any oil or water on the belt and pulley.
  2. Install a belt (C), and tighten the slider bolt so as to obtain the specified belt tension. See BELT TENSION  . See Figure .
  3. Tighten the lock bolt (A).
  4. Tighten slider bolt (B).
  5. Install V-belt cover.
