1 CHECK TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE SIGNAL.
- Lift-up the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
- Drive the vehicle faster than 10 km/h (6 MPH).
WARNING:
Be careful not to get caught in the running wheels.
- Measure voltage between transmission control module connector and chassis ground.

- H4 with TURBO:
(B56) No. 1 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
- H6 with VDC:
(B56) No. 17 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
- H6 without VDC:
(B55) No. 13 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
- H4 NA U5 with SPORTS SHIFT:
(B56) No. 17 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
- H4 NA U5 without SPORTS SHIFT:
(B55) No. 8 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
- With SPORTS SHIFT except for H4 NA U5:

2 CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE AND COMBINATION METER.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect connector from transmission control module and combination meter.
- Measure resistance between transmission control module harness connector and combination meter harness connector.
