Low And Reverse Brake: Inspection

Check for the following.

• Drive plate facing for wear or damage
• Snap ring for wear and spring retainer for deformation

1. Place the same thickness of shim on both sides to prevent retaining plate from tilting.
2. Inspect clearance and select retaining plate.
   1. Standard:  0.7 - 1.2 mm (0.028 - 0.047 in)
   2. Service limit:  2.2 mm (0.087 in)
