Without SUBARU Select Monitor

Current diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) shown on display are cleared by turning the ignition switch to OFF after conducting on-board diagnostics operation. Previous diagnostic trouble codes (DTC), however, cannot be cleared since they are stored in the TCM memory which is operating on back-up power supply. These diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) can be cleared by removing the specified TCM connector.

CLEAR MEMORY: 

1. Removal of TCM connector (B54) and (B55) (for at least two minutes) 

• The TCM connector (B54) and (B55) is located in the line to memory back-up power supply. Removal of this connector clears the previous diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored in TCM memory.
