Speedometer Gear: Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Install the washer and speedometer shaft, and press fit the new oil seal with ST.
ST 899824100 or 499827000 PRESS
- Install the vehicle speed sensor. Refer to INSTALLATION , Vehicle Speed Sensor.
- Install the speedometer driven gear and new snap ring.
- Install the transmission case. Refer to INSTALLATION , Transmission Case.
- Install the transfer case with extension case assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION , Transfer Case and Extension Case Assembly.
- Install the back-up light switch and neutral position switch. Refer to INSTALLATION , Switches and Harness.
- Install the manual transmission assembly to vehicle. Refer to INSTALLATION , Manual Transmission Assembly.
